A three-block outdoor plaza lined with restaurants, shops and produce stands near San Antonio’s city center, Market Square is the largest Mexican market in the U.S. It is one of America’s top-ten outdoor markets, according to Frommer’s.
Main Plaza was the site of the first authorized Texas city when it was established as the market square for San Antonio March 9, 1731. Government structures still share Main Plaza with the Cathedral and the 1882 County Courthouse. Enjoy free live concerts every weekend.
The Cathedral of San Fernando is a cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church located in Downtown San Antonio. It is the mother church of the Archdiocese of San Antonio and the seat of its archbishop. The cathedral is also known as the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria y Guadalupe and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is notable as the oldest cathedral in the United States.
La Villita Historic Arts Village is an art community in Downtown San Antonio. There are many fine arts galleries, stores selling souvenirs, gifts, custom jewelry, pottery, and imported Mexican folk art, as well as several restaurants in the district.
Rivercenter Mall is located on the Riverwalk and houses many shops and restaurants. Visit stores including, Macy's, Sun Glass Hut, Victoria’s Secret, Bath and Body Works, Gap, Tony Romas, IMAX Theater, Rivercenter Comedy Club, and so much more.
The San Antonio Botanical Garden is non-profit botanical garden in San Antonio, Texas. It is the city's official botanical garden.
The Alamodome is a domed 65,000 seat, multi-purpose facility used as a football, basketball stadium and convention center. The Spurs played in the Alamodome for a decade and is now used for a variety of events such as UTSA football and NCAA tournaments.
Take a step back in time and visit the Spanish colonial missions established in this area in the early 1700s. Park rangers will take you on tours of the San Juan Mission compound that includes homes, ranches, farms, workshops and churches.

SeaWorld San Antonio is a 250-acre marine mammal park, oceanarium, and animal theme park, located in the Westover Hills District. It is the largest of the three parks in the SeaWorld chain owned by SeaWorld Entertainment, and the world's largest marine-life theme park.

This open-air mall still carries the architectural flavor of the former Alamo Cement Company – the site upon which the complex was built. You'll find a movie megaplex, a Whole Foods, restaurants, boutiques and entertainment venues.
The Shops at La Cantera is a 150-acre, upscale, open-air regional shopping mall with over 130 stores and services. La Cantera is also home to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, The Westin La Cantera Resort and Spa and two world-class golf courses, The Palmer Course at La Cantera and The Westin Resort Course, which was home to the PGA Valero Texas Open.
